Hey there, great to see you! 🌰 Protect your cells with Selenium!

Selenium is a trace mineral important for antioxidant protection, thyroid function, blood flood and immune system health. You don’t need a lot of it – but it’s important to include sources of selenium in your diet.

Sources: Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, mushrooms, oatmeal, lentils, cashews, eggs, and brown rice. (Sunflower seeds also contain lecithin and so can be especially good to eat if you’ve had your gallbladder removed, as lecithins help break down fats). Other sources are egg yolk, soybeans and kidney beans.

Recipe: Enjoy a Brown Rice and Shrimp Bowl: Cook brown rice, sauté shrimp, and mix with steamed veggies. A balanced meal!

Or try this incredibly tasty Brazil nut fudge recipe by Summer sanders… oh my…that looks so yummy :)

If you make this fudge, can you send me some?
